Interactive Lighted Shelves
Objective:
To design an innovative shelf display for L’Oréal that enhances the customer shopping experience by guiding users to the perfect hair care product based on their hair type.
Method:
- Designed and integrated a 10-inch touch screen into the shelf display.
- Developed an interactive questionnaire on the screen to identify the user’s hair type (e.g., oily, dry, or normal).
- Created a system where the related product lights up and the shelf physically rotates to guide the customer to the exact product location.
